My Story

This charity placed my Dad on a cancer treatment trial which made the cancer disappear.

Unfortunately however, following a splenectomy to remove the last bit of cancer from his spleen, his body relapsed and shut down. 

26th May, the day of the run, would be my Dads 56th birthday. 

I am raising money to recognise the work Helen Rollason done for my Dad and hope I can make him proud in spirit. 

Last year I went through surgery in January and was unable to walk and train most the year making running a half marathon this year quite the challenge..
